Dawnn currently serves as the Chief Program Officer at the Greater Washington Community Foundation where she provides strategic clarity, advisory, and management of the foundation’s discretionary grantmaking. She also serves as the staff lead of Reimagine, formerly the Greater Washington Workforce Development Collaborative, a regional funder collaborative whose mission is to co-create solutions alongside communities and people to advance systemic economic justice solutions rooted in reimagining, redistributing, and rebalancing work, opportunity and sustainability. She is the former chair of board for the Washington Area Community Investment Fund and vice chair of the Prince George’s County Workforce Development Board. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Jane Bancroft Robinson Foundation and holds a master’s in Public Policy from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science degree from Howard University in Human Development and Psychoeducational Studies.
