Where will the conference take place?
The event will take place at The Westin Crystal City Reagan National Airport, 1800 Richmond Highway, Arlington, VA 22202.
How many people are expected at Further Together 2025?
We expect around 150 attendees at this year’s Further Together.
Who can participate?
This conference is for workforce grantmakers and funders. Nongrantmakers can participate only if invited to speak on a panel conversation or to present research during the research reception.
What is the dress code for the event?
Dress for the meeting is business casual.
How do I book a room at The Westin Crystal City?
You can reserve a room in the Further Together block at the group rate while availability lasts here. We recommend booking your room early. The deadline for the conference rate is September 8, but rooms may sell out before then.
I am staying at the conference hotel. What time is Check-in and Check-out?
Check-in is at 3:00pm.
Check-out is at 12:00pm.
Is there parking at the hotel?
Yes, parking is available at the hotel. It is $24 per hour, or $48 daily.
How far is it from the hotel to the airport and train station?
Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is 1.0 miles from the hotel, approximately a 5-minute drive. There is a complimentary shuttle available.
Washington Dulles International Airport is 27 miles from the hotel, approximately a 30-minute drive.
Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport is 36 miles from the hotel.
The Alexandria Amtrak station is 4.5 miles away, approximately a 15-minute drive.
Is there public transportation nearby?
There are metro and bus stations close by.

Where will registration be located?
Registration will be located in the Atrium. A floor plan of the space can be found here. The hours are as follows.
10/8 – 10:00am – 6:30pm
10/9 – 7:00am – 5:30pm
10/10 – 7:00am – 1:00pm
Where can I find the schedule of events?
The schedule will be added to the conference website here no later than 8/29.
If I’m invited to speak, can a member of my team join me at the conference?
If you are a grantmaker and you’re invited to speak, any member of your team can register to participate in the conference. If you are a field partner/nongrantmaker and you are invited to speak, only the invited speaker can participate in the conference on the day of your designated panel.
